Bexley’s Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) Programme
We are pleased to offer families the opportunity to take part in Bexley’s Summer HAF Programme,
funded by The Department for Education.
The HAF programme offers funded holiday club places to pupils who receive benefits-related free
school meals, during the Easter, Summer and Winter holidays. Each participating holiday club will
provide a variety of fun experiences, activities and/or sports, a nutritious meal and the opportunity
to socialise with other children or young people.
Bexley’s Summer HAF Programme is now live, and we believe you are eligible to book a funded
place for your child to attend easter holiday clubs and activities.

The Great British Food Festival
The Great British Food Festival is heading to Danson Park 5th and 6th July, and we’re pulling out all the stops to celebrate our 15th Birthday! 🎂🎈
We’re planning a food-filled extravaganza with mouth-watering eats, live entertainment, and fun for all ages. And here’s where you come in—we’d love your help to make this birthday bash even bigger and better!
Bexley Voice SEND Summer Activities and Information Marketplace

Centre Stage Theatre Academy
We would love to invite your students to take part in our exciting Centre Stage Theatre Academy Summer Holiday Workshop running from Monday 28th July - Friday 1st August.
This year’s theme is “Revolting Children” - A Matilda Musical Workshop, and it's a fun-filled week of singing, dancing, and acting inspired by the much-loved musical Matilda.

As we look ahead to the summer holidays, C4F are again running our highly popular sports camps.
The courses are open to boys and girls in Reception through to Year 9 with games, tournaments and lots of fun to be had!
For the first time ever, we are also holding a 'GIRLS ONLY FOOTBALL CAMP' which we hope will give lots of girls the opportunity to improve their skills and have a week of football fun!

Our clubs are designed to keep children creatively engaged over the summer break through fun, hands-on activities in a safe and supportive environment. We cater to a variety of age groups and abilities, and all sessions are run by experienced, DBS-checked staff.

Access Sport - Disability Inclusion - Thamesmead Multi-sport festival

We’re excited to announce that Access Sport & Peabody Housing are hosting a Thamesmead SEND multi-sport festival on Saturday, 26th July 2025
About the event
This free event is for d/Deaf, disabled and neurodivergent children and young people and their families. Sessions are drop-in style, and you can join in different activities as you go. We will have community clubs from Greenwich and Bexley delivering taster sessions including hula hooping, tennis, dance, archery, Boccia, football and much more. This is a great opportunity to try different sports and get involved in club sessions that take place locally during the week and weekends. Medals will be given out to all participants!

Where: Sports Club Thamesmead, Bayliss Avenue, SE28 8NJ (sessions are on the outside astro-turf and inside studio)
Time: 2 – 4 pm
Age: 5 - 25 years old
Cost: Free

There is a disabled changing toilet on site. We will not have a Changing Places toilet on the day.
Please note we are unable to arrange travel to/from this event for participants, but there is free parking available in the car park.
We expect the event to be busy, so it may be noisy. Please bring ear defenders if needed. We will also have a few ear defenders available if needed.
Please ensure to bring any medication, drinks and snacks you may need during the event.
We ask parents/carers/guardians to stay with their children at all times during the event.

Please find attached our dates for our Summer Holiday Workshops. We have 3 x 1 day workshops each with a different theme.
We are also excited to announce our new Digital Crew sessions every fortnight on Saturday mornings starting in September!
With our new Digital Crew, we will have 2 hours each fortnight to plan, make and edit films over the Autumn Term.

We are Omega Sportz and we have partnered with the local council to provide free activities and hot meals for children who are on pupil premium, benefits and or any other financial support this Summer holiday (paid places also available). We will be running our programme at Belvedere Junior school (DA17 6AA).

Access Sport - Free Summer BMX Cycling – Bexley Pump Track
During the Summer holidays, we're offering young people the opportunity to spend their time taking part in free BMX cycling sessions, with bikes and safety equipment provided. We are welcoming all biking abilities, from complete beginners to those that want to gain more confidence or perfect their skills.
Sessions will occur weekly on Fridays from 8th – 29th August and will include:
- Girls Only
- Mixed
- BMX Wingz
Wingz sessions are for all young people with additional needs and their siblings who want somewhere they can feel comfortable and confident learning to ride a bike. We will provide two wheeled BMX bikes and strider bikes of different sizes for this session, as well as safety equipment such as helmets, knee pads and elbow pads.
